SHIPPING & DELIVERY We offer Free Delivery to the U.K. on orders over £100. For orders to the UK under £100, we charge a flat shipping fee of £6.99. All orders to continental Europe incur a flat shipping fee of £9.99. Orders will be processed and dispatched from our U.K. warehouse. Orders received over the weekend, holidays or after 10 am on regular business days will ship the following business day. Delivery of item(s) can take anywhere from 2-3 business days after dispatch within the U.K. (or 3-5 business days for continental Europe and 5-8 business days outside the EU), depending on your location. Orders received over the weekend or holiday will ship the following business day. Prices for orders to U.K. and EU are inclusive of VAT and no additional duties and taxes will be due upon delivery. International orders outside EU may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival.
UMBRELLA REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS
All Davek umbrellas are covered under our Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee. If, at any time, you find any defect in material or workmanship, or the umbrella should fail to function properly, we will gladly repair or replace it at no charge (except shipping & handling). Follow the instructions here.

We want to make sure you are absolutely thrilled with your purchase. If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not 100% satisfied with your order, return the unused item within 14 days of purchase for a refund. Simply follow these instructions:

NO DROP-OFFS, please mail the product back to us. For items being sent to our Returns department, please be sure to ship via insured, traceable mail. This service is offered by UPS, Fedex and other carriers.
You can expect a refund for the cost of the returned item(s) in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of receipt of return.
All shipping costs are non-refundable. If an item is returned whose original purchase was made with free shipping, £6.99 will be deducted from refunded amount to cover the cost of original shipment.
Returned bags will incur a £15 restocking fee.
SAFETY Always point umbrellas away from you when opening and closing, as some are spring loaded. As a precaution, allow at least 3 ft of space in front of you when opening.
We use the information customers provide when placing an order only to facilitate shipment of the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. With respect to security: We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site, We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
Privacy in the European Union (GDPR)
For customers located in the EU, all processing of Personal Data is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the EU Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 (the Directive), and the implementations of the Directive in local legislation. Davek processes Personal Data as defined in the Directive and the GDPR. Davek adheres to the Directive of 1995 and the GDPR from May 25th, 2018. Consequently, Davek processes all data provided by its Users with accounts in the EU only. All data collected by Davek will be stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities provided by Shopify. Davek has a data processing agreement in place with its provider, ensuring compliance with the Directive. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations. All transfers of data internally in the EU is done in accordance with this data processing agreement.
Retention and deletion Davek will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. When a users’s account is terminated or expired, all Personal Data collected through the platform will be deleted, as required by applicable law.
Our Legal Obligation to Disclose Personal Information We will reveal a user’s personal information without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required to establish the identity of, to contact or to initiate legal proceedings against a person or persons who are suspected of infringing rights or property belonging to Davek or to others who could be harmed by the user’s activities or of persons who could (deliberately or otherwise) transgress upon these rights and property. TERMS OF SERVICE All products purchased on our website are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. Davek reserves the option to replace any item returned with a replacement model of comparable value. If your model is out of stock or no longer carried, we will send you a replacement model of comparable value at our discretion.
